Someone, somewhere thought it a good idea to install ‘anti bird nets’ across all of our balconies, with, unfortunately no bird problems, no consultation with individual residents, the TRA,  or our estate management.
This curious  state of affairs seems to have come from nowhere, with several emails form the TRA, to all concerned going  mostly unanswered and a very last minute polling of individual residents meaning the nets are going up in some flats and not in others.

A spokesman for Mitie has informed us the nets are also very useful for stopping babies falling from the balconies, so now we know.
